Heat Soaked Tempered Glass

After being  installed ,the tempered glass sometimes has spontanenous  breakage, which is the feature of tempered glass .

The reason lies on Nis, which turns into instability after sudden  heating and cooling .. Such instablity tends to break the press blance  inside the glass and causes  self -destruction .This probality of spontaneous breakage is low, yet it can not be eliminated  completely .

Our company intruduces  big heat soaked furnace for heating saoking of tempered glass ,Trough detonation of the potential risks in glass, the spontaneous breakage is greatly  reduced to and safety  increased .

According to EN14179, the heat soak test is done  by heating the tempered glass to as high as 290° C ± 10° C, keeping for at least  2  hours and then cooling sown to room temperature .


The Heat Soak Process:
Reach 290° C ± 10° C and maintain temperature for 2-8 hrs
